100 HOUR AK CLASS
Wrist flick adjustment was the key…
I graduated from NYCC earlier this year and had taken your 100 hour AK class back when I was early on in the program. Anyway, I wanted to thank you again for a terrific experience. While I only incorporate a few of the many assessments/ techniques on a regular basis (fixations, IC valve, etc.), I thought of you instantly when I found a massive anterior cervical at C3 on a patient of mine. What made it signature was that I used your wrist flick adjustment and what a thud it made! Still have more layers to peel back, but the anterior hasn't crept back in the last few visits.

The best presenter of AK he's come across…
Let me start by relating to you that for me, Dr. Charles is the best presenter of AK that I have come across. Everybody has their own style, but for me, you are it! I am not joking,
I love the way that you bring the material down to an everyday trench war-fare style, while at the same time bringing in the mental/spiritual aspects of what it takes to get the patient well.
Yours in Health,...

From a colleague
Hey Dr. Charles,
Still on a high from last weekend -- it was great! Thank you again for all your talents. I had a new 25-year-old patient who took a 1 hour session: age 25, on Nexium and complaining of stomach problems that her MD was unable to help her.
As I was treating her and listening to her, I thought I better check for Switching. Sure enough it was there! But here is the amazing part: I asked her if she was ever had trouble focusing, labeled ADD, and so on. She answered yes and was amazed that I was able to guess this.
She asked me why this happened to her. I told her she probably was forced to walk early and so on and I asked her if she was a big reader as a child. Guess what? She was! She was freaked out and I got goose bumps. This stuff is cool. I love Applied Kinesiology. Thank you for giving me a new direction that was well needed.

AK removes the large amount of grey area involved in treating patients
Dr. Charles,
I would like to thank you for not only changing my practice but for changing my life and my way of thinking. I am a 2008 graduate of NYCC who was reluctant to try Applied Kinesiology at first. My brother and I have a practice located in Rutland, VT. We purchased the AK DVD's when they first became available in the summer of 2010. Once I had the opportunity to try some of the techniques, I have been hooked on AK. Originally, we were an ART/Graston type practice that has been very successful using those techniques. However, after leaving school and seeing patients more regularly I began to see the incompleteness of ART and Graston. I came from an engineering background and relying solely on feel and patient symptoms became very frustrating as to whether or not I was even helping them. I personally love AK because it provides the doctor the opportunity to apply the correct technique and it removes the large amount of grey area involved when treating patients.
Sincerely,
Raymond Cooley, D.C.
